File list preferences
The following preferences apply to all lists of files if the action in question is available for items in that list:
Warn before acting on more than N items
This preference limits the number of items File Buddy will move to the trash before asking you to confirm the action. The preference applies to any list that contains files or folders and provides the option to move to those items the trash.
Warn before acting on more than N items
This preference limits the number of items on which File Buddy will perform certain actions, such as opening or showing items in the Finder before asking you to confirm the action.
Preferences for List window lists
The following preferences only apply to List window lists:
Use relative dates in file lists
When this preference is on, recent dates in lists will terms such as “Today” and “Yesterday.” When it is off, all dates in lists will use a standard calendar date.
Select items added to file lists
When this preference is on and items are added to a non-empty file list, all of the newly added items are selected in the list. If the items are added to an empty list, the first item is always selected, independent of this setting.
When exporting lists as text, use:
This option is used when List window lists are exported as text, either when saving a list as text or when copying list data containing paths to the Clipboard.
